A monthly local magazine that would feature articles about the paranormal aspects of San Antonio. The magazine will feature monthly updates on stories, places, facts, and upcoming events that the public can join in on, bringing them the thrill. San Antonio is known as one of the most haunted cities to visit in America. The city holds multiple haunted locations where people can visit and learn about the mysteries of the city’s history.
Conclusion
This monthly magazine was a great challenge to me. Editorial design was not my strongest skill when it comes to large paragraphs and having them laid out on different pages. I began with basic “following the grid,” which created the missing concept of paranormal or creepiness. I had to start from scratch, which was my key to success. I simply did the scariest thing in graphic design: I broke the grid. It was risky, but it helped me reconnect with my concept and establish a magazine that will keep readers awake at night.
