I redesigned the book cover of The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe. A story that intrigues the audience of two characters who go down the catacombs during a Carnival in Italy. A vengeful character, Montresor, and his friend, Fortunato. A slow-burning, tragic story that leaves the audience with questions about why Montresor took revenge on Fortunato. All we can say is that his body still remains behind the walls of the catacombs.

Conclusion

The book cover was a fun experience that tested my graphic design skills while exploring my hobbies and discovering how I can combine two things into one. I love collages because I enjoy experimenting with Adobe Photoshop. With my love of reading books, I brought the book to life by incorporating little details that intrigue the audience’s attention, allowing them to read the fortune-telling events.
